The Data Entry Officer is responsible for registering, verifying and safeguarding the information from the information sheets relating to the FERI, FERE and ADC forms in the SYGREM system, while guaranteeing the quality, reliability and confidentiality of the data.
Responsibilities
Accurately enter information into the SYGREM system; Verify the accuracy and completeness of the data before validation; To safeguard declarations and ensure their traceability; Identify and report errors or inconsistencies to the line manager; Respect the deadlines for processing files; Guarantee the confidentiality and security of information; Organize and archive physical and digital documents; Collaborate with relevant teams for data validation;
Requirements
Technical skills: Proficiency in computer tools (MS Word, Excel, database systems) Experience or knowledge of the reporting system on a platform (asset) Excellent typing speed and accuracy Data Control and Validation Capability Knowledge of administrative procedures in Kenya Behavioural skills: Rigor and attention to detail Discretion and respect for confidentiality Good organization and priority management Ability to work under pressure Team player and effective communication Reliability and professional integrity Education and experience Diploma: Baccalaureate to Bac+2 level in computer science, management, administration or equivalent Experience: 1-2 years minimum in data entry or similar administrative position Experience in a government or migration environment desired Other: Languages: Good command of French required, knowledge of Swahili and English appreciated Location: Mombasa County Meanings: FERI: Electronic Import Information Form FERE: Electronic Export Information Form ADC: Certificate / Authorization to Load
